Alcohol identification based on a childhood memory

I have no clue if what I’m asking is even remotely rational, but I figured I would never know unless I try. I am very alcohol illiterate so I’m sorry if this seems absolutely ridiculous:

When I was around 6 or so, my grandma once had one of the larger bottles of alcohol. She let me have a sip and it was amazing (so I snuck and got more later). I think it was one of those 750ml bottles, a clear one. It was two toned in lime green and blue. It packed a nice punch, sort of like how ginger beer does, and it was somewhat fruity like a lime. The only stores we had access to at the time were the gas stations we walked to and Albertson’s that we took the bus to, so I assume she got it from one of those two places. We were quite poor and grandma wasn’t an avid drinker, so I’m doubtful that it was anything expensive. Does anyone have a clue what I’m describing? I am not sure what other details I can give because that was nearly two decades ago. I dont drink, so I cant compare it to anything else 🙁
