Is every type of alcoholic drink just as unhealthy as the next?
I’m drinking a ABV 60% rn and it hurts like a mf down the hatch. And even though I’m not one to usually get any hangovers whatsoever (even after mixing like 5 drinks in a night), this thing fucks me up big time. It’s a local alc made by my dad, called tuica. It usually isnt this strong, more similar to vodka usually, but he made this batch especially fucked and strong by mistake.
So my question in the end is: are types of alcohol more healthy or unhealthy than others? Is red wine healthier than vodka if drank to the point where the same alcohol volume is in your system at one time? Will I get Cirrhosis faster by drinking another thing or should I just switch to something else which has less deadly substances in it’s chemical comp?
I’m not especially great at chemistry so I can’t tell what all those elements in a drinks composition mean towards health standards, so yeah.
Ty for your answers!
