normal to get jealous?

this is probably really dumb, but i am now 20 and in college and occasionally go out drinking with friends or my bf. i had never tried drinking until college, simply bc my parents were very strict and i wouldn’t have been able to get away with it since my dad is an alcoholic and my mom marks our bottles.

my bf started drinking at 15 and has drank pretty much every weekend since then, and i used to not care, but after he got drunk without me once, i got weirdly jealous and idk why. ever since then, i get soooo jealous when he drinks, and i feel as if he has had so much more fun than i have since i didn’t start drinking until later and i don’t do it near as often.

anyone else experience anything similar? i want him to have fun and all but it sucks having to pretend to not be jealous :/
