This may be a dumb question, but, theoretically, could I like, carbonate hard liquors in a Soda Stream?

I kind of have a problem with beverages that are non carbonated, flat, so to say, I just don’t like the mouth feel, but I do like the taste of alcohol.

Would it be possible to just put, say, whisky in a Soda Stream, make it carbonated and then mix it with a soda? Or would it just become a mess, or even worse, damage the Soda Stream?
