Why does drinking in pubs affect me differently compared to drinking at home?
Hi guys,
So I drink almost every day. I drink usually around 4 – 6 cans of lager per day (not something I’ve proud of). I usually drink at home but every so often I’ll go down to the pub to catch up with some of my mates.
But I often find that I’ll drink 4 pints in a pub, feel a lot more drunk, come home and crash. Whereas I can drink 6 pint size cans at home and still feel full of energy albeit a bit tipsy. Admittedly I did use to binge drink a lot more but cut down due to health problems so my tolerance has dropped a lot compared to what it used to be.
I don’t change drinks, I stick with what I always drink. But does anyone else find this happening to them? It really ruins a night out for me.
