Bad reaction

Almost always when I drink alcohol I have a bad reaction. My face gets very red and splotchy, more than the flush u hear about. I also have a lot of old scars on my legs. Whenever I drink they get extra red and VERY itchy. At its worst after one night of heavy drinking moon shine I woke up with my lips and eyes swollen. I’ve tried a lot of different alcohols to see if I still have this reaction. Wine, wine coolers, hard liquors such as rum, vodka, whiskey,. My favorite drink is twisted teas and they give me the redness and itchiness as well. The only drink I know of that didn’t give me this reaction has been cheap beer like bud lite, but I don’t drink that often so that might be the reason I haven’t noticed a reaction. I really enjoy drinking so I don’t want to stop. But I have no idea what could be causing it. I’ve also noticed even worse when I haven’t eaten before drinking. It’s embarrassing when I drink with friends because they get concerned with how my face looks. Sometimes all it takes is one glass of wine for a reaction to start. I can’t even take Benadryl to help it, I’m allergic to Benadryl as well. The only think that slightly helps is Zyrtec. Anyone else experience this?
