How common is polydrug abuse among drinkers?

Just thought about how many illegal drug users usually have one main drug and then a few others occasionally, wondering if it’s the same with drinkers as alcohol is a potent and very addictive drug and works similarly in the brain as many illegal narcotics do. But alcohol is legal and I assume risking getting into serious trouble just to do narcotics probably isn’t worth it for many.

So, tell me your thoughts! I use mainly alcohol and Amphetamine but occasionally a lot of different stuff lol
