I drank some of my husbands wine, replaced it with water, and he can tell. Help!

He texted me asking if I drank some of his wine and topped it off with water. I did. I don’t want to own up to it because that was an idiotic thing to do. What should I say? I have 10 hours to figure out what to say since I’m in bed and he’s not.
