Hello found an old alcohol drink black balzam in basement

I have some questions about the drink since i have never seen it.

How old is it? (I cant seem to find the year of productuion) but i know its from the Soviet era and i remember grandfathers story about a russian merchant giving him a bottle (maybe 30-40 years ago maybe even more)

Is it any good? I found some reviews that say the taste is awfull.

Is it expensive?

Is it safe to drink after all?
