What are some nice party alternatives to Jello shots?

I was hoping you guys would be able to help me out.

I’m headed to a party later this year for New Year’s Eve. I’d like to take alcohol, but I assume most people are going to be taking just bottles of harder liquors such as Jack and Pink Whitney since that’s what has happened in the past.

I’d like to be able to pre-mix some type of shot to take to the party, similar to a Jello shot, but not actually including Jello. I’m personally not a huge fan of them and I think they’re overdone. That leads to my ultimate question: what are some alternatives to mix up in small, single-serve plastic shot cups to hand out easily at a party?
