Does anyone else get anxiety BEFORE drinking alcohol?

I get terrible anxiety every time before I drink. It could be hours beforehand but if I know I’m having a drink that night I’ll have it hours leading up to it. I definitely also get hangxiety but getting anxiety before drinking shouldn’t be normal, right? Like I’m doing something wrong..
