If my tolerance normal?
I hardly drink at all but I have a severe tolerance for it. I wanted to see how normal this might be for others. Granted I am really tall and beefed, but it still feels ridiculous.
The main reason I don’t drink is because in order to get tipsy, and I don’t mean drunk I just mean tipsy, I need 300 grams of whiskey. If I want to get drunk I need more like 500-600 grams and by that point it just feels ridiculous drinking that much. The thing is I drink maybe 4-5 times a year. It’s not like I spend every day building a tolerance for it. But alcohol doesn’t do shit unless I’m absolutely chugging it. And things like beer? I can’t drink it fast enough to even feel it. And I’m not talking about light beer I mean the heavy stuff.
The worst part is that little buzz will leave in 20 minutes, it leaves so quickly I’ll panic when I’m drunk that it’ll be gone so fast I can’t even enjoy it. The high lasts so little it’s infuriating and doesn’t feel worth it in the end.
Now if there is something I do feel after I drink it it’s the recovery. I’ll feel sick for hours if I don’t drink a gallon of water. I may not get a buzz but I do feel like I’m going to fucking die afterwards lmfao. If I drink now I always make sure to drink plenty of water and I’ll feel fine, but back in the day I’d get so sick.
Well I drank today because I felt a little cough and whiskey is my go to medicine, I poured a nice big cup of for myself, (around 100 grams), chugged it on an empty stomach, and was happy I could get a buzz again since it’s been awhile…and I didn’t feel a thing yet I haven’t had a drink in months. It is infuriating. At no point in my life have I ever been a heavy drinker so I never built a tolerance, it’s just another way my body says “Fuck you!” to me…
And I remember a girl who got drunk off of two light beers. Like dancing on tables and throwing up drunk…how?
(And before anyone recommends it even smoking weed does the exact same thing, it’ll feel like heaven for a minute and then it’ll leave.)
