What is my palette? Looking for keywords

The way people describe alcohol confuses me, like I can’t pick out the subtle flavors I like and define them. So I’m just going to list my favorite alcoholic drinks and see if someone can give me some keywords on my palette so I can look for other things I enjoy.

Favorite cocktail: Negroni (Gin – Bombay) Favorite beer: Guinness Red wine: Merlot
