Alcohol and cavities

I know this may sound silly of course..I have been waiting to get a couple cavities filled and the last couple times I drank vodka/mixed drinks I woke up the next day with my teeth hurting really bad because the sugar was affecting my cavities, So the next time went out I tired maybe drinking some beer, and it made it better but still my teeth are pretty sensitive. Basically I want to have a couple drinks today because it’s my day off and I really just want to relax, but I’m curious if anyone knows the best kind of alcoholic beverage that will not effect my cavities or make my teeth hurt. Please no negative comments, I don’t have my dentist appointment for a couple months and really just want to be able to relax with some friends today without having my teeth being effected by it lol
