alcohol and GERD

I have GERD! Does anyone here drink while taking omeprazole. I enjoy drinking absinthe but i don’t want to make my GERD Worse. I’m not sure if alcohol is what caused my GERD or not. It could have been lots of things. But my main question is does anyone here drink while taking omeprazole. and is it safe.
