This rum cocktail from Jettie Rae’s Oyster House in Asheville, NC, features apple cider and fall baking spices.


The Leaf Peeper

Keyword amaro, apple cider, Bacardí Superior rum, cardamom, pear


1 ½ oz. Havana Club Blanco rum½ oz. Pear-cardamom syrup¾ oz. Local apple cider¼ oz. Eda Rhyne Amaro Flora3 dashes Crude fall spice bitters: cherry clove, cinnamon


Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
Add ice and shake well.
Strain into coupe glass.
Garnish with a dried apple slice.
