Why are so many wine cooler drinks made sugar free?

There’s bud light hard sodas, hard Mountain Dew, plenty of lemonades, pretty much a whole group of drinks that are more flavorful than seltzers. Why is this? Why don’t they make a variety of them made with sugar? They all have that artificial sweetener taste to them that I can’t stand.
