why is alcohol giving a tingly sensation?

i never drink really, i had two drinks tonight and my legs were really tingly for a couple hours, almost numb but not really. i could still function fine and i was in no pain. i didn’t get drunk or anything, but i want to know why this happens, if it’s normal, and if it’s happened to anyone else?? for reference, i’m a 23 y/o female
