New to alcohol

I turned 21 awhile ago and due to Covid I didn’t get to really have the college experience or the standard 21st birthday celebration. I am completely clueless when it comes to alcohol, all I know for sure is that I hate the taste of it.

I know that drinks exist out there where the taste is virtually non-existent – I just don’t know what. Wines I’m told are a good choice generally speaking. I tried buying vodka to make a fun fruit drink at home, which went horribly- I couldn’t drink it no matter the ratio.

I just want to experience what it’s like to be drunk once. I was able to get tipsy once on some fruit flavored Japanese wine called ‘Koji’ but that’s not really widely available in my area, I’d have to order it online.

Any recommendations for someone like me who can’t choke down the taste? I’m willing to pay a bit more if necessary.
