How much time should I wait before drinking again after vomiting?

Three nights ago I ended up drinking with some friends, long story short, among whiskey, vodka and tequila i drank way too much, probably a bit less than 1 liter. When my friends left my place I tried to go to sleep but I was too drunk, soon after I started vomiting, I was in a miserable condition. The only time I vomited after alcohol was about 3 years ago, when I blacked out and was just lying on the ground. Just for reference, the first time I got drunk was about 8 years ago, and I, almost always, drink responsibly, so I’d assume that when my body decides to vomit is when I really drank way too much, probably on a level that is a risk for my life. How much time would you suggest me to wait before even drinking a couple beers?
