question about flask

So I recently went to a Broadway production and at the March booth they had a stainless steel flask. I’m not really a gin vodka or whiskey drinker, but I’m curious, could I put moonshine in a flask? If not, I’ll probably just go with my go-to which is rum but I was just curious
