I have this peculiar problem where if I drink Friday night I’ll sleep after passing out. Come Saturday night 24 hrs later I will be up ALL night with no sleep, it is absolutely brutal. Sometimes this continues until Sunday and is absolutely devastating. I’ve heard it’s from your body rebounding from the alcohol being a depressant, and come the next day your body kicks into overdrive and I’m hyper stimulated come time for bed Saturday night. Is there any way to overcome this? It’s getting real hard to convince myself to party with my friends when I know I’ll pay an unfair sleep deprived price over the next few days.
