I’m in college and right now I drink about 2 days a week (I definitely wouldn’t consider myself an alcoholic). I never go on multi-day benders anymore or drink too much because I noticed something interesting a while back. After I drink heavily for 3 days in a row, I will hear voices when I try to go to sleep the next night. It’s been a LONG time since this has happened because I absolutely hated it. I don’t have bad anxiety, but I’ve noticed that alcohol definitely increases my anxiety the next day, and one way it does this is by causing me to hear extremely mean voices when I’m trying to fall asleep. I only start to hear the voices when I’m starting to drift away.
Anyways, I’m just wondering if anyone else has this problem?
