Drinking while sick.

Question for the alcoholics, not the alcohol enthusiasts. Do you quit drinking when your sick? If I get prescribed medication I’ll quit just until it’s safe again (don’t wanna mix alcohol and pills don’t ya know) but if it’s just the flu, or a cold or something I’ll just slow down my daily intake. I feel like quitting cold turkey when my body is already under the weather probably isn’t the best idea for it.
