5 Alcohol-Free THC Mocktails Worth Shaking Like the Real Thing

Most mocktails get treated like an afterthought – juice, soda, a sad lime wedge, done. If you spend your weekends dialing in a Last Word to the quarter ounce, that’s a letdown on the nights you’re not drinking.

THC drinks fix part of that. They give a zero-proof glass a reason to be sipped slowly, the way you’d nurse a good rye. So here are five recipes – real measurements, built on canned and powdered infused drinks – and a few rules so the night ends pleasant, not hazy.

Starting With the Right Base

If you’re shopping for the best alcohol-free THC drinks to mix with, start with the label, not the flavor. You want three things: a clear milligram count per serving, fast onset, and lab testing you can check. The recipes here use Hometown Hero’s lineup, which comes in three formats. Sparkling lemonades in 5mg and 25mg cans. Tropical drink mixes, 15mg a packet. And DASH, a flavorless powder with 10mg per packet. The THC in all of it is hemp-derived Delta-9, nano-emulsified so it shows up in roughly 15 minutes and is mostly gone in four hours. None of the servings top 100 calories, and batch certificates of analysis are posted on the company’s site.

Milligrams work a lot like proof, if you squint. That 5mg can sits in session-beer territory. A 15mg packet? More like a heavy-handed pour, particularly if THC isn’t something you use much.

A Few Rules for the Shaker Tin

Use one infused ingredient per glass. Every recipe below follows that rule – the other components are plain juice, syrup, or soda, so the dose on the label is the dose in your glass.
Then wait. Give it 15 or 20 minutes before you even think about round two. Cocktail people tend to overshoot here, because booze announces itself faster.

And skip the spirits. Combining THC with alcohol amplifies impairment from both, so keep these strictly zero-proof (even the bitters – Angostura is about 45% ABV, so use an alcohol-free brand). Adults 21 and over only, nobody drives, and check your state’s rules: as of October 2026, hemp-derived Delta-9 is federally legal, but a federal ban is scheduled to take effect December 11, 2026.

1. Ginger Mirage Mule

1 can Ginger Mirage THC Lemonade (5mg)
½ oz fresh lime juice
¼ oz honey syrup (equal parts honey and warm water)
Garnish: mint sprig, sliver of candied ginger

Build it in a copper mug – lime and honey syrup on the bottom, crushed ice packed to the rim. Then the lemonade, poured slowly down the twist of a bar spoon so you don’t knock the bubbles out. Give the mint one sharp slap between your palms before it goes in; you get the aroma, and the leaves don’t turn black.

2. Ruby Rosemary Collins

1 can Ruby Oasis THC Lemonade (5mg)
¾ oz fresh lemon juice
½ oz rosemary syrup (recipe below)
Garnish: one rosemary sprig

Give the lemon and syrup a quick shake, just enough to chill them, then strain into a Collins glass full of ice and top up with the lemonade. For the syrup: drop two rosemary sprigs into a cup of 1:1 simple syrup while it’s still hot, leave them 20 minutes, and fish them out. Refrigerated, it lasts roughly two weeks.

3. Bay Breeze Sour

1 packet Bay Breeze Tropical THC Drink Mix (15mg)
2½ oz cold water
¾ oz lime juice, freshly squeezed
¾ oz aquafaba (yes, the liquid from a can of chickpeas)
Lime wheel

Get the powder fully dissolved in the water before anything else goes in – stir until you can’t see a single speck. Next, a 15-second dry shake, no ice. Then add ice, shake hard, and double-strain into a coupe that’s been sitting in the freezer. Aquafaba builds foam the way egg white does, with no raw egg involved. At 15mg this is the strongest drink here, so pour it last if you’re making a flight.

4. Smoky Salt Paloma

1 packet DASH Unflavored THC Powder (10mg)
4 oz fresh grapefruit juice
½ oz fresh lime juice
¼ oz agave nectar
2 oz soda water
Smoked salt for the rim

The DASH goes into the lime juice first, before the grapefruit even comes out of the fridge. Powder dissolves quicker in a splash of something acidic than in a whole glass of liquid. After that, grapefruit and agave go into the tin; shake, strain over fresh ice into a highball with a smoked-salt rim, and finish with soda. The smoked salt stands in for the char a mezcal would bring.

5. DASH Espresso Tonic

1 packet DASH Unflavored THC Powder (10mg)
1½ oz freshly pulled espresso
4 oz chilled tonic water
Orange peel

While the espresso is still hot, stir the DASH in, then leave it a few minutes to cool down. Tonic goes over ice in a tall glass first. The espresso floats on top – pour it slowly over an upturned spoon – and a twist of orange peel squeezed over the glass finishes it. The caffeine and THC pull in different directions, so try this one on an afternoon when you have nowhere to be.

What separates a thought-through mocktail from a can poured over ice? Usually three things – fresh citrus, a syrup you made yourself, and decent ice. The infused base sets the dose. Everything else is technique you already have from the bar cart, now applied to the nights you’re keeping the bottles closed.
