Alcohol 7 days after a tooth extraction?

So I’m curious if anyone has had any experience or advice with drinking alcohol a week from having an extraction.

For reference, I’m having my top left wisdom tooth pulled in the next couple days- of course my timing is impeccable because my birthday is exactly a week after that, and I’m traveling and most certainly plan on drinking on my birthday.. and during my trip.

I’m trying to decide if it’s just smarter to wait until I get back from my trip, or if I should just say fuck it and full send it. 😅
