His alcohol problem was a central aspect of his life and activities. I am a connoisseur.” He smoked cigarettes, particularly Marlboros. He also purchased alcohol and cigarettes outside official channels from a woman known as Aldona; products from this source became part of the local lore, dubbed *Aldonówki*.
The rise of the “Łoś streams” in 2020 significantly increased his access to cash. Following Janek’s death, some viewers came to believe that the US17 activities might have exacerbated his drinking.
