Sazerac Confirms Bid For Berentzen

Sazerac has signed a binding agreement to acquire Berentzen-Gruppe AG, the German schnapps producer it was reportedly pursuing last week. The deal gives Sazerac a different approach to add international volume than its failed Brown-Forman pursuit.
