This is a place for fun

We’re here to get a little drunk and have some fun, I’m disturbed by the posts from people deep in alcoholism (including the recent one I’m sure many of you saw with the alcohol moniter on their ankle) but more so I’m disturbed by the comments these posts getting praising this behaviour and thinking its all silly fun.

It isn’t.

Alcoholism isn’t a joke and you shouldn’t be encouraging it. When people show genuine concern, give advice, or tell someone they need to stop/slow down they get downvoted and shit. I also see comments praising or encouraging hard drugs and if you oppose those commenters you get downvoted.

This sub needs an overhaul and needs more moderation (pun intended). It’s losing the fun hang out aspect and just becoming a slum of addicts.

These people need serious help. Stop encouraging them or laughing about it.
