How much time might my father have left with end stage of cirrhosis?

My father is 51 and was diagnosed with advanced end stage liver cirrhosis in January 2026. Since then, his condition has deteriorated dramatically. He looks almost unrecognizable compared to how he looked before —He has become extremely thin and almost completely lost his muscle mass — he looks like skin and bones. Recently, the deterioration has become even more noticeable. He spends most of his time lying down, has very little energy and eats much less. He is extremely thin, has yellow eyes, and one of his legs is somewhat swollen. His abdomen is currently relatively small/not very swollen. He is also very tired, sleeps more and seems sad and depressed.
He has had episodes of collapsing. He is sometimes slower when speaking and moving. He also bruises very easily, and I have noticed blood in his mouth and blood on his bedsheets.
He is noticeably slower when speaking and moving and sometimes mumbles..
His appetite has become very poor. He has stopped wanting proper meals and sometimes only wants soup or fruit
He has complained of severe dry mouth.
I have noticed blood in his mouth and blood on his bedsheets, and there may also have been some bleeding around his ears. I suspect some of the blood in his mouth could be from his gums, but I don’t know for sure.
His breathing has also seemed unusual at times, according to a family member.
He has been increasingly irritable and sometimes seems emotionally very distant or “not fully there.” He is depresed and sad.
He is aware that he has cirrhosis, but he doesn’t really talk to us about his feelings or fears.
His bilirubin was 160 µmol/L in January, again around 160 µmol/L in early May, and then 114 µmol/L later in May. His FIB-4 score was 3.3.
He is currently receiving medication, including spironolactone and medication for his mental state, but I don’t know all the details of his current treatment.
I am his daughter and I am trying to help him as much as I can. I bring him food, groceries and meals, but he lives alone and I work full-time, so I cannot provide 24/7 care.
My question is: based on this description, how advanced does his condition sound to you, and what kind of timeframe could realistically be possible — months, weeks, or potentially longer?
I am especially worried that some of his symptoms could indicate hepatic encephalopathy and that he may be approaching the end stage of his illness.
I am not looking for false reassurance or an exact prediction. I would rather hear an honest answer, even if it is difficult.
