I invented a drinking game: Don Draper

This is a game I invented for daydrinking. If you want a rowdier day drinking then just play Cannonball as many times as necessary.

Don Draper

You have to drink one beer every hour.

You may only drink the required beers each hour.

If you miss an hour, it rolls into the next hour, so you have to drink two, and so on. (ex: It is now one o five. I drank a beer at eleven o five, but missed my noon beer so need to drink two beers between one and two. However, first I need to run an errand and go get more beer. If I am not home by two, I need to drink 3 beers between two and three. But no more.)

If you don’t finish your drink within that hour it counts for the next hour as well. Thus you cannot crack another beer.

If you have no beers available to drink, you are allowed to drink liquor without any restriction.

So basically, if you forget about your drink or just don’t finish your drink in time, you’ve been Don Drapered and you can only drink liquor or liquor drinks, and you can drink as many as you want.

Example Game:

At ten o clock you and your friends start playing Mario Kart and having a beer. Kevin gets so distracted that he forgets to drink half of his beer. Now that it’s eleven o clock, Kevin goes ‘Whatever I guess you guys have to be responsible still today. I don’t care we’re just going to the lake. Give me the rum.’

The game continues until four o clock that afternoon. Everyone has drank a responsible enough amount to have a nice day, except for Kevin. Perhaps it was his turn to be the fool that day, perhaps inspired by the examples of moderation around him he just has a nice amount of rum in the sun, perchance he even bought a mixer and made some nice drinks, or mayhaps some other poor soul missed their beer later in the day and had to join the ranks of drunks.
