Drinking after Xanax?

Hi everyone!

I never take Xanax but my doctor gave me one 0.5mg pill for my flight which I took 32 hours ago, can I drink? I’m on vacation and I’d like to drink but some stuff on Google said I should wait at least 48. I’ve seen lots of different things and I’m new to this so pls don’t judge 😂 just looking for advice lol 😂
