Drink Recommendations for a Bar Newbie

Hi!!!! I’m new to the bar scene and I’m looking for some drink recommendations for someone who hates super strong alcoholic drinks.

I don’t drink much because whenever I’m hanging out with friends, I’m always DD. But, for my birthday this year, I wanna let loose a bit and let someone else do the driving for once.

The problem is I don’t like the taste of most alcohol. Most of the stuff I’ve tried just doesn’t taste good to me. Here are some flavors I do like:

Baileys Irish Cream is to die for, I love it. My brother put it in my hot chocolate one time and I fell in love. I love love love vanilla, chocolate, caramel, and other sweet flavors of that kind.

I also love a good lemon drop! My brother made some during Christmas one year and I was definitely digging it. Anything lemonade-esque is a win from me.

I absolutely do not like those cheaper canned/boxed cocktails like the tropical Cutwater flavors, Beatbox lemonades, and Twisted Teas. Though, of course, I tend to frequent those because my friends and I are just a bunch of poor 20-somethings who are just here for a good time.

So, yeah, I’m looking for some fun things to order at the bar! I love trying new things and I don’t wanna just order a bunch of lemon drops all night.
