What’s one bottle you bought on a whim that completely exceeded your expectations?

I think we’ve all grabbed a bottle with low expectations—maybe it was on sale, recommended by a stranger, or just looked interesting on the shelf.

Sometimes it ends up becoming a regular in the rotation.

What’s one bottle that surprised you the most, and why? It doesn’t have to be expensive. Could be whiskey, bourbon, rum, vodka, gin, tequila, or anything else.

I’m always more interested in the “hidden gems” than the bottles everyone already knows about.
