Here’s something different. Walnut liqueur

This is something we make annually and it’s super easy to make and is super good for stomach problems.

In my case I used:

18 green walnuts

0,9kg of sugar

1 lemon

Few mint leaves

And 2l of what you would call grappa, but it’s pretty much moonshine distilled from leftovers of grapes for wine production.

You mix it up in a jar, close it, and leave it in the sun for 40 days mixing it every now and then. And that’s pretty much it. After 40 days you strain it and you get a dark, thick liqueur that is so nice to drink as an aperitif or digestive.
