generation gap

ok i just turned thirty and im on a wedding party of one of my friends, on an open camping (de lievelinge )who only invited friends, no family nor kids.

We were having few beers and some 15 year olds ask us to join but they don’t wannna drink

good trend but just wondering
are 15 uear olds now just more sober or was I an exception for drinking and enjoying it (secretly)
