Drank vodka but didnt get the buzz this time

So today i drank around 25-30% of a bottle of vodka(50abv) and this was only the third or fourth time drinking in my life
the other times the buzz usually kicks in after 10-15 minutes but today, there was NO BUZZ at all . Not even the slightest.And i hadnt even eaten anything before.The throat burn and the taste of the vodka were definitely there but its after effects were like the after effects of drinking water(literally nothing happened)
Can you guys help me figure out how the heck this happenes???
