Best Alcohol Root Beer

Has anyone ever had a good root beer that was alcoholic, like a normal beer that didn’t taste gross? I’ve had two and it was lackluster unfortunately. I like A&W and my all-time beloved is Sprecher Root Beer. I know taste is subjective but are there any alcoholic brands that are don’t taste like disappointment? And/or ways of how to make your own?
