Champagne

Hi. I know nothing about champagne. I don’t like it, don’t pretend to like it. Friends of mine got rid of a condo they’ve been trying to sell forever. I want to get them a bottle of champagne to say ‘congratulations this nightmare is finally over’.

I don’t want to spend a million dollars, but I also don’t want to come across looking cheap. They have a bit of money so they probably know decent champagne. Gosh, I sound like such an idiot.

Anyway, can anyone recommend a decent bottle? Something that says ‘I’m happy for you and I spent a decent amount of money on you to let you know that I’m happy for you, but not too much money because I don’t have as much money as you guys do and I don’t even know why I’m doing this, I’m just a thoughtful person’.
