Why do I feel more intoxicated drinking tequila compared to vodka

When I’m with my girlfriend we usually have seltzers and yesterday we had high noons. Usually I drink the vodka ones and have about 3-4 and feel a buzz. Last night we got the tequila seltzers (both have the same alcohol percentage). I drank 2 and was already feeling around the same was as I would after 3-4 vodka seltzers and my girlfriend said the same thing, mind you we drank them at the same pace as we would with the other ones. Last time I have the tequila ones before this I had 4 and threw up while having 4 of the vodka ones no problem on other occasions with the same speed of consumption. I never thought of these being stronger so it’s no placebo I’m just curious if anyone feels the same way
