Patched up by whiskey

My father has always been a sucker for age old whiskey n so when we had a spat recently,I thought to myself “what better gift to appease him than that age old whiskey”.I was all set in my plan except there was one tiny flaw,I always have a hard time buying alcohol.I’m not underage or anything like that.I’m actually 22 years old but I guess I look too young for my age so any time I try to get liquor I always get carded n then I end up getting pissed. So I decided to just order online this time to avoid any unnecessary drama.I ordered a bottle of glenfiddich whisky from alibaba n it arrived just a few days later.I gave the bottle to my dad yesterday at my sister’s sweet 16 n I’ve honestly never seen him smile so wide.He gave me a hug grinning from ear to ear n even invited me to drink it with him sometime.All in all I’ll say the day went pretty well Today I’m on my way to have that drink with my dad. Hopefully it will give us a chance to bond n catch up on all the things we’ve missed in each other’s lives over that last month that we’ve been fighting.I honestly admire him so much n I’m really glad to have him back in my life.
