Sertraline & alcohol ?

So my birthday is coming up soon and I’m going out clubbing for the first time, but I’m on anti depressants, sertraline to be exact. I know you’re not meant to combine sertra and alcohol, not sure what it does other than make the sertra less effective though. I also have emetephobia (fear of throwing up) so if that’s a side affect of mixing the two I don’t know what to do 🙃 I really wanna go out and have fun but I’m so anxious. I also don’t know if this is the right community to post this but I don’t know where else I would.
