Does anyone else get extreme skin redness & very hot while drinking alcohol?

I know I look awful (I’m coming out of a nasty cold) but does anyone else experience this? It looks a lot more red and kind of scratchy in person than it does on camera but it’s almost like a nasty sunburn and it’s extremely hot to the touch. It’s only on my face too. I’m 23 and I don’t drink too, too often and I never have more than 2-3 drink at most and that’s on a heavy night. It’s usually either vodka or tequila mixed drinks (idk if that changes things) like margaritas and such. I have PCOS so I also don’t know if it’s a flare up related to that but if anyone can relate or has some info on this, that would be awesome.
