Proper N° Twelve, what?!

My local liquor store has limited Irish whiskey. Basically Jamo. No thanks. Not even Bushmills or Paddy’s. But three days ago, they had this; Proper N° Twelve. I put my specs on and read their marketing blah on the bottle. Seemed legit. $24 US, not toooo bad. Could have “splurged” for $27 Buffalo Trace bourbon…

Taste is weak. Nothing strong. It’s different and okay. On the rocks with agave it works.

However… the history behind it is what kicks me. Some UFC fighter from Ireland apparently was their owner for a while and the dude is actually a rapist and has multiple accounts of assault and sexual assault. He is still not in prison. And wow, if you read up on his aggressive behavior, it’s really scary.

While I understand the company has to make due for that, the product they have isn’t that great. Sadly. I’ll say this Irish whiskey is a loser on all accounts. I hate saying it. It’s not just because they had a weak man, but also, a weak mesh.
