Just turned 21, what do I do after driving myself to a restaurant and having a drink?

Basically I want to go out to like a restaurant and order alcohol for myself for the first time but should I take an uber home? Like what do people normally do? I know some people that just kinda wait until they sober up to drive home but how long does that usually take? I’m not wanting to get drunk or anything just have a drink from apple bees or something lol. But yeah like if I drive myself there do I just wait to sober up? I’m just overthinking this bc I’ve never done it so just wondering what other people do 🙂 thanks!
