All of a sudden: about 200 bottles of opened liquor appeared in my basement…
…and I’m wondering how to preserve the contents? I know liquor (without creme, eggs,) doesn’t really go “bad”, but it will “degrade” over time as air seeps in through the threads of the cap. These bottles are of all category and each are between 40-80% full. How can I store these and preserve the liquor as best as possible? I mean store as in: put them in the pantry until they make it to my bar shelf…. I can’t drink all of this in the next 12 months. I’m a plumber. Should I put teflon tape on the threads?
