Vanilla vodka vs Whipped vodka – How much different are they?

Is there a big difference between Smirnoff Vanilla vodka and Pinnacle’s Whipped vodka? Can you use one in place of the other?

Bonus Q: Anyone have a good/close substitute mix for a pumpkin flavored liquor? (not necessarily creamy, more of a pumpkin liqueuer… and without actual having to use pumpkin puree or something like that – I’m talking about a combination of more common flavored liquors. It can be hard to find each year in stores around me.)
