No casual drinking, just 3-4 “Events” per year

After college and early 20’s I no longer like the residual effects of alcohol. Hangovers, anxiety, general malaise is not worth it. I do not drink at all casual glasses of wine, beers, hard alcohol, for many reasons including the calories, having to drive (I will not drive after any amount of alcohol until the following morning) and other reasons.

However, I do enjoy for an event such as a bachelor party, Big football tailgate, wedding, night in Vegas, to “full send” and have a rambunctious night. I will go hard and objectively will be very drunk, but I do not black out, never gotten arrested, don’t get into fights, just really getting after it.

I will feel like garbage in the morning but it’s rare to even feel guilt or depressed as I am genuinely pretty happy and don’t do anything “out of line” besides have a really great time and be a goof. Definitely seems like a little bit of a release, and 100% of the time it almost feels like a reset?

I get exceptionally motivated to get into my routines of fitness, set new goals, re-align financing goals, and get back to a pretty put together life.

Health is great, I’m more wondering because I don’t see many or any posts quite like mine and am wondering if anyone else has experienced this or known someone who acts similarly.

I genuinely enjoy the great time and have considered “do I need to even drink then” but it is quite enjoyable during the entire experience of letting loose.

Any feedback, opinions or comments welcomed
