Ativan withdrawal when trying to drink alcohol

I’m on 2 mg,twice daily so 1 mg in the morning, 1 mg at night Been on since April, when I want to drink alcohol I skip my ativan for that day,which worked fine,but since end of September I started getting bad headaches, then everytime I tried skipping my ativan and drinking, the headaches got worse,was put on BP meds and high BP reading after I saw a doctor and told him when I try drinking I get headaches

Since sometime in October when I skip my meds and try and drink,I get weird feelings in my head and face,once it felt like a worm was in the side of my face,and like pressure in my head,pin and needles etc.and of course worse anxiety ,it have gotten so bad that everytime in the last 1 month and 3 weeks that I tried skipping my meds and drinking, I had to stop drinking and if I had only like 1 cider wait 3 hours to take an ativan

Is this withdrawal from skipping?

Also I do want to get off ativan,would need to taper off it I know,but have anyone been given something for the withdrawal?
