Why does it feel like whiskey hits immediately?

for context im F 5’4 and i weigh 110 and ik that def has something to do with it. and i am nowhere near 21 if ur picking up what im putting tf down lmao

purely out of curiosity i thought id ask why it genuinely feels like i’ve been hit by the whiskey train immediately after drinking it?
